Read with GGC Monthly Graphic Novel Book Club: Carmilla, the First Vampire by Amy Chu

Outsider Comics and GeekGirlCon (GGC) are teaming up to present a monthly graphic novel book club! The subject and tone of each book will vary month-to-month, but like GGC, each month’s selection will center diverse voices in the graphic novel and comics world. 

For September, we’re reading Carmilla, The First Vampire by Amy Chu! (Please note this is the new Chinese-American queer feminist graphic novel adaptation, not the original novel form the 1800s! Also we’re reading The First Vampire, not The First Vampire Hunter (which is the sequel). It is somewhat confusing!)

Book club sessions will take place at Outsider on the fourth Thursday of each month. Active discussion will be from 7 PM to 8 PM.
