Outsider Zinefest

IT IS HERE! Our first Zinefest, a free, all ages event to celebrate and share self-published zines, comics, and more in our community!

This first ever Outsider Comics Zine Fest will take place in our store, with most exhibitors in the meeting space and on the covered back porch. We’ll be opening the back doors so you can enter/exit through the back so make it easier to manage traffic.

Masks are required at the event! We’d appreciate if you brought your own but we’ll also have free KN95 masks available.

Please note that while this is an all ages event, some exhibitors will be distributing / selling zines meant strictly for adults. All material containing explicit sex will be marked as such.

Because we literally got 4 times as many applications as we had space, we will be rotating exhibitors every three hours! So come on by multiple times during to weekend if you want to see all the cool zines!

Art Zone!

We’ll have a special area for making your own lil’ zines (including some community zines!) and buttons, with the help of Carapace Illustrations (Saturday noon to 4) and Sevenish Magpies (Sunday noon to 4)!

Free Zine Exchange!

Join in the spirit of sharing via the free zine exchange table where you can leave or take zines, stickers, and more! (Please e-mail us ahead of time if you’d like to distribute free zines so we can make sure we don’t get like random hate speech on the table.)

Special Art Guest???

We are currently formalizing an eldridge pact with an Art Entity to get some Special Performance Art at the Zine Fest. Once we finalize everything we’ll post more!!!
