Magic Jumpstart for New(er) Players

Come play Jumpstart with us! Jumpstart is the best format for new(er) players! With a pool of simpler than average cards and a level playing field that doesn’t depend on how many cards you own, it’s designed for both newer players getting used to the game and veteran players who just wants to open packs and play!

In our Jumpstart for New Players event we’ll have at lease one experienced judge/teacher on hand to help teach or remind you of basic rules, answer any questions you may have about the cards or the game, and generally be helpful. If you’re a new player who wants to learn by jumping into a game or a newer player who wants a friendly, non-judgemental space, with some assistance whenever needed, to play, this event is for you!

Here’s how it works: you get 3 Jumpstart booster packs, open them, and then shuffle two of them together into a deck and play. It’s simple and, with the many varieties themes found in booster packs, (almost) endless fun! Pit your cat-vampire deck against a horde of dinosaur-snakes! Fly high with birds-who-draw-lots-of-cards or go low with zombie-soldiers! What deck will jumpstart your Magic experience?

Age 13+ please! 3 packs of Jumpstart boosters from Foundations Jumpstart or Jumpstart 2022 are included in the ticket purchase. Tickets are refundable until 24 hours before event starts. To request a refund please e-mail info@outsidercomics.com with the request.
